Facts
The ultra-light carbon frame has fully integrated cable routing that runs through the frame and chainstay. This makes for a better look, reduces noise and also protects the cables in the process which in turn extends the lifespan. This may all sound highly complex at first but to everyone's surprise the bike is relatively low maintenance and easy to use. Additionally the Tues bikes also have protectors on the chainstay and seatstay.
The 2022 range includes the YT Tues Pro Race, YT Tues Pro and the YT Tues Base. Other models are the Tues CF Comp, Tues AL or also the YT Tues CF Pro Race Mob Edition.

YT Tues CF Pro Race: The flagship is currently the YT Tues CF Pro Race which has been optimized for maximum performance with adjustable dampers. High-end components with an extremely lightweight carbon frame let you become the king in the bike park as well as on the race track.

YT Tues Pro: Here you have just like the CF Pro Race the possibility to adjust the suspensions individually. Only with the components you have to make a minimal deduction. It assures the same fun in the bike park or on a freeride though.

YT Tues Base: It is the continuation of the YT Tues AL and is the perfect bike for beginners. It has a frame made of aluminum as well as rock-solid components that do not stop at any freeride. Even here the suspension can be easily adjusted to your requirements. Nothing stands in the way of the next adrenaline rush on your descents in the bike park.
In addition to the downhill bike YT also has all-mountain bikes, trail bikes, enduro bikes, dirt bikes, junior bikes and two e-mountain bikes in the range.
History
YT Industries was founded in 2007 by Markus Flossmann and has its headquarters in Forchheim. In addition to the showroom in Forchheim there are also YT Mill showrooms in Surrey Hill, UK and in San Clemente, USA. The goal of YT has always been to produce high-quality bikes that do not immediately blow the budget. Although competitions naturally exude their own charm, the focus at YT is on togetherness.
The group from young to old prefers to spur each other on to peak performance. The focus is usually on having fun rather than determining the best performer. The YT family is a tight-knit bunch that likes to have a beer together whether it's at the YT Mills or after a successful trailbuilding day. In this family environment they try to integrate even the younger riders. Therefore they offer equally high-quality bikes for the juniors so that they get the same riding experience. Until today YT is true to its line which is also regularly reflected in the new bikes.
If you are interested you can test the YT mountain bikes during a visit to one of the YT Mills. You can choose the bikes in size M and size L with Crankbrothers Stamp 7 pedals. Even if the desired model is not currently available for a test ride you still get a good impression about the YT bikes. The frame size is equally proportioned for all models.
With the YT Mob they had their own team at the start of the UCI Downhill World Cup for 6 years. With Aaron Gwin they directly won the World Cup in 2016 and 2017 which gave YT a big boost as a rising bike brand.

Depending on the price range, you will find different components on the YT Industries Tues
Depending on which Tues model you choose you get a varying selection of components. The Tues Base bikes are equipped with reliable and solid components. On the Tues Pro premium components are used while on the Tues Pro Race bikes you'll find high-end products. For the choice of components YT relies on partly long-standing partners:
Groupsets / Brakes

For the crank, front derailleur, rear derailleur and other parts of the groupset YT relies on the proven quality of SRAM. Especially in the MTB sector they enjoy an excellent reputation and the Tues has e.g. the SRAM GX DH installed.

Also for the disc brakes they rely on the same manufacturer, with the SRAM Code RSC brake. For several years now disc brakes have outstripped rim brakes on MTBs. Although the weight disadvantage long made a significant difference and this still exists today, you can no longer get around the more powerful disc brakes. Especially on muddy surfaces they still achieve almost full braking power.
Shocks
- The fullspension chassis at the Tues consists of the suspension fork with a 200 mm travel and a damper at the rear. Among others the following dampers are used:

- SDG Components is a very popular choice on Tues bikes as it is on other YT bikes: for the saddle as well as the seatpost. For handlebars and stem rely either on a combination of products from Renthal or also from Race Face.
Wheels / Tires
- For the wheels they like to trust the rims of E*Thirteen: such as the E13 LG1 Race DH Carbon or the E13 LG1 PLUS DH. The Maxxis Assegai is the choice of tire for the Tues as with many other bikes from YT.
Additional equipment
- Have you planned a longer weekend it won't hurt to bring one or two items: enough provisions, water bottles, tools or even smaller spare parts. Especially in difficult terrain there is a big chance that something will go wrong. No matter how comfortable you find a helmet it is kinda mandatory even on a supposedly easier trail. One wrong maneuver over a root exposed by rain can change your fate abruptly which is why you should always wear a helmet. Other protective clothing and protectors are also advisable.

In addition to the downhill Tues YT Industries also has a number of other MTBs on offer. The YT Jeffsy all-mountain is a reliable companion on your trips even in remote regions. With the YT Izzo, on the other hand you make every trail your home.
From the YT Capra enduro bike you can buy same as with the Tues several versions: Capra Core 2, Capra Core 3 and the Capra Launched Edition. Furthermore there is the Capra Uncaged 6 or Capra Uncaged 9 as a premium version. Fast descents are just as much fun as violent jumps through the tree tops. The Dirtlove in turn makes every pumptrack in the twinkling of an eye to pure ecstasy where the fun knows no bounds.
The Jeffsy Primus junior bikes are available with 24 inch and with 26 inch rims. Thus even the younger riders have fully equipped bikes to choose from to prove their skills. With the Decoy 29 E-MTB all-mountain and Decoy E-MTB enduro YT also has two e-bikes in the range. They have equal components only with the small difference of a motor integrated into the frame.
With the Uncaged bikes you get custom bikes that are equipped with only the best of the best. Product updates are not available for these as each Uncaged is assigned its own serial number.
