Derailleur groups & brakes

From Shimano you can choose between the Shimano 105 Di2, Shimano Ultegra, Shimano Ultegra Di2 and Shimano Dura Ace Di2. Furthermore, Campagnolo Bora, Campagnolo Super Record and the SRAM Rival eTap AXS are available to you. The Di2 Disc models are all equipped with an electronic circuit. These include the Shimano 105 Di2, Shimano Ultegra Di2 and the Shimano Dura Ace Di2. The shifters in the upper price segment offer you precise shifting processes so that you can fully concentrate on the racing action.
For the crankset, the FSA SL-K Light is used. It is a reinforced and rigid connection between the frame and the crank. The lightweight design and high stiffness guarantee that the maximum possible power reaches the pedals when pedaling.
Brakes: The V3 bikes you get with the modern disc brakes as well as with rim brakes. You decide which is the better solution for you. The disc version weighs a little more, but convinces with better braking performance. With the Colnago V3 Disc you are assured of good braking performance even in wet conditions. Compared to the rim brakes, the Disc Brakes have an almost constant braking power even in the rain.
Rim brakes have the advantage of being cheaper to buy and are easier to change. Simple tools, such as a multitool, are usually enough to make the brakes afloat again.
Cockpit
Saddle: The Prologo Dimension does very well. The Dimension is available in several versions, depending on what your preferences are.
Seatpost: The seatpost is part of the monocoque frame. The new closure system is lighter than its predecessor and allows for greater variation.
Handlebar & Stem: The Colnago Carbon Aero handlebar is made of carbon fiber and provides good aerodynamics and high comfort. It can be combined with the Colnago SR9 stem, among others. Furthermore, the Deda Alanera handlebar can also be used. For the V3, an additional top cap is recommended and for the V3Rs, an adapter is required.
To achieve the perfect seating position, in addition to the frame size, the adjustment of the cockpit is an important factor. Only if everything is precisely matched to the rider:inside, you get the most out of your bike.
Wheels & Tires
Wheels: The Fulcrum Racing 600db impress with their lightness and durable fiberglass. They are versatile and can be used perfectly for racing and training sessions.
Tires: When it comes to tires, Continental Grand Prix, Vittoria Corsa and Schwalbe Pro One, for example, can be recommended. If you are mainly on smooth surfaces, then the narrower tires with less rolling resistance are suitable. For coarse surfaces and adverse weather conditions, wide tires with lower air pressure are the better choice. This gives you good traction control, even at high speeds when cornering.
Additional equipment
If you are on the road with a road bike, you do not need much for your basket. A bottle holder incl. water bottle and the right clothing are enough to ride a pleasant tour.
