Facts

With the Bianchi Impulso Allroad GRX and Bianchi Impulso Pro you get gravel bikes based on the road bike DNA of Bianchi. The Bianchi Impulso Allroad GRX is the all-rounder. It is flexible whether on the road, gravel roads or forest and meadow paths. It is a combination of road bike, MTB and cyclocross bike. 

Both models are available in the distinctive Celeste color. The bikes have an aluminum or carbon frame and have been equipped with disc brakes and other high-quality components. The Bianchi Impulso Pro was developed for the adrenaline junkies with a love for comfort and nature. It's effectively a road bike that you can use in a versatile way on a wide variety of surfaces. It shines as well on and off the road and is perfect for competitions and adventurous rides at high speed. 

The Bianchi Full Carbon fork in conjunction with the aluminum or carbon frame provides a lightweight bike that brings the necessary power to the asphalt. It is then completed with the FSA headset. The wider wheelbase provides better control and thus also a better grip on most terrains. Also the Bianchi Impulso Pro or Allroad is available in the cult color Celeste. You get the models in 6 different frame sizes for the best possible seating position.

History

The Bianchi brand from Italy was founded in 1885 by Edoardo Bianchi who opened his first workshop at the age of 20. His passion for riding and curiosity about mechanical functioning prepared his way into the world of bicycles. Bianchi's notoriety continued to grow steadily with Eduardo Bianchi as product developer. In these early beginnings the Celeste color was born which later became the trademark for Bianchi. 

Bianchi not only had to survive the hardships of World War 2 but also the deaths of CEO Gian Fernando Tommaselli and Edoardo Bianchi in a short time. Bianchi as well as the drivers themselves performed at their best under the most difficult conditions. Fausto Coppi impressed on his Bianchi bike with victories at the Giro d'Italia in 1947 as well as the Tour de France in 1949. Thus the brand gained recognition throughout Italy and later conquered the world market. 

With the acquisition in 1997 by Cycleurope Company they established themselves among the top brands in cycling, combining history and cutting-edge technology. Marco Pantani cemented this status with victories in the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France in 1998 and the whole world was enthralled by the "pirate" Pantani. In early 2000 the Celeste jersey returned with Jan Ullrich, his team and Bianchi as the sole sponsor. 

Over the past 130 years of the company's history Bianchi became a lifestyle brand and launched the first Café & Cycles in Stockholm. This was followed by one in Milan and another in Tokyo. The brand has become synonymous with success including its style and is continuously developing new and better products.

A balanced combination in the components

Most of the components come from Shimano and Velomann but also from manufacturers such as Formula Hubs, Kenda Tire, Reparto Corse or even WTB. Kenda Tires was founded in Taiwan but has now factories in Europe, Asia and America. 

Groupsets

• For the groupsets components such as the Shimano GRX 600 and Shimano GRX 810 are used each with the Shimano CN-HG601-11 chain. A groupset consists of front derailleur, crankset, rear derailleur, brake lever and shift lever. The matching pedals you can buy separately later.
• The Shimano GRX 810 shift lever is used with Shimano GRX 810 RD-RX810 rear derailleur and Shimano GRX 810 FD-RX810 front derailleur including a Shimano 105 CS cassette. The Shimano GRX 600 ST shift lever is also combined with the Shimano GRX 810 RD-RX810 rear derailleur and Shimano GRX 810 FD-RX810 front derailleur. In addition there is also an Impulso variant which is equipped with the Ultegra groupset. 

Brakes

• There are two different types of brakes: the rim brake and the disc brake. Although it takes more time to change most bike manufacturers are saddling up to disc brakes because they have the better braking performance compared to rim brakes. The improved braking power comes from the delayed braking and it also requires less power than the rim brakes. 
• At the beginning they were mainly used in the MTB sector but also more and more in gravel or road bikes. The Bianchi Impulso Allroad and Impulso Pro have flat mount disc brakes installed: Shimano SM-RT70 and Shimano BR-RX400.

Drive systems

• For you to fully concentrate on nature during your breathtaking excursions the Impulso E-Gravel comes with a powerful motor. The 250 watt drive can be easily switched on and off with the iWOC One remote control.

Saddle / Seatpost / Handlebar & Stem

• The seatpost is mainly from Velomann and they also use their products for the saddle. From Selle Italia, among others, the Selle Italia ModelX Superflow FeC is installed. It has undergone a special product development and is made without glue. The saddle is a sustainable product that is 100 % Made in Italy and minimizes the carbon footprint. An extra gel covers the entire seat area and provides better shock absorption. Elastic modules inside the shell increase resistance and guarantee the necessary flexibility with greater comfort at the same time. To complete the cockpit also for the handlebars and stem mostly components from Velomann are in place.

Wheels / Tires

• Wheels come mostly from Velomann and for the hubs they use products from Formula Hubs. For tires they rely on either Riddler, like the Riddler Comp 700 x 37c, or Kenda Tires such as the Kenda Alluvium 700x40 or even the Kenda Flintridge. 
• The Kenda Flintridge originated in Kansas and got its name from the sharp stones present there. He convinces with grip and can still move quickly through the terrain whether over hard asphalt or gravel roads. Furthermore it has a GCT casing which protects against wear and cuts. Thanks to reflective patches you are also well visible at night.

• Depending on whether you're going on a trekking trip or participating in a road race decide what's best for your cart. You have several options such as bike computer, water bottle, tool bag and much more.
