The first Capra enduro bike came already in 2014 on the market and YT has thus broken completely new ground. The newer bikes have an even better stiffness and are again slightly lighter. The Capra Enduro mountain bikes have a high-quality frame design with state-of-the-art components.

Professionals love the Capra bikes but even a beginner doesn't have to be deterred by such an excellent bike. Due to the smooth handling the bike immediately gives you the full confidence to master any trail. YT has also taken the trouble to produce a separate frame size per wheel size for a perfectly matched bike.

If you hurry you may even find the Capra CF Pro or Capra CF Pro Race cheap among the outlet bikes. The abbreviation CF stands for a carbon frame and AL for bikes with an aluminum frame.

The newer Capra bikes the MX as well as the 29er models are equipped with the modern Flip Chip technology. This allows the frame geometry to adapt to the driving style or the surface. If the flip chip settings are relatively low it is suitable for higher speeds. At slightly higher parameters the bike has more space underneath and thus delivers better performance uphill. From the front suspension to the rear you get fully integrated cable routing.

The YT Capra models are available for purchase up to frame size XXL. The bikes with the frame size XL as well as XXL are provided with a proportionally extended chainstay. History

Young Talent Industries is still a relatively young company. It has only been around since 2007 but they have earned a very good reputation relatively quickly through their ambition and innovative bikes. The company is still headquartered in Forchheim, Germany and the workforce has now grown to nearly 100 employees worldwide. In the beginning they operated as Sponsoree Deutschland GmbH under which the first bikes were released in 2008. Three years later they changed their name to Young Talent Industries and a pure bike brand became a lifestyle brand.

YT Industries embodies its own lifestyle and age-wise there are no limits down or up. Even at an advanced age you are always welcome to be a part of the family at YT. Whether it's freeriding, trips to the bike parks or having a beer at the YT Mills afterwards where the pros often hang out. It is precisely this family relationship that is part of the success. Even the youngsters already have almost equal mountain bikes which not only serves to better introduce them to the terrain. From the beginning they are on a par with the experienced riders - they are the future of tomorrow.

With the YT Mob they also had their own team at the start for about 5 years which participated in Enduro World Series (EWS for short). Fom time to time one of the riders appears spontaneously at the YT Rolling Circus. There you can test ride some of the models as well as in the YT showrooms. High-quality components throughout the YT Capra models

Due to the versatile range of applications as well as the demanding challenges YT Industries has left nothing to chance. Among others the components of the following manufacturers are used:

• Fox Factory

Occasionally you will also find a few in-house YT developments on the bikes.

Groupsets / Brakes

• The groupsets, which include the crank, of the current Capra bikes are mainly equipped with SRAM: such as the SRAM X01. On older models you will also find the products of Shimano such as the Shimano XTR.

• When it comes to brakes only modern disc brakes are used like the SRAM Code. They are becoming increasingly efficient and lighter and have replaced rim brakes especially on MTBs for a while. Disc brakes have long been a guarantee of success on MTBs as they perform almost identically even on muddy surfaces.

Shocks

• The suspension fork which is part of the chassis in front as well as the damper at the rear ensure that the drivers have at any time the greatest possible control over the bike: whether wild trail or through the bike park. The suspension travel varies depending on the model or even application but in the 2022 Capra models it is consistently 170 mm.

• For the suspension fork the Fox 38 Float Performance, Fox 38 Float Factory as well as Rockshox Zeb Ultimate RC2 are used. In addition the RockShox Zeb Ultimate Flight Attendant or also the Öhlins RFX38 are used.

• For the rear shocks they also use several products from Fox Factory: Fox Float X Performance, Fox Float X2 Factory or Fox Float X Performance Elite. In addition they also use the Cane Creek DB Kitsuma or the RockShox Superdeluxe Ultimate Flight Attendant.

Saddle / Seatpost / Handlebar & Stem

• For the saddle SDG is the preferred selection including the SDG Bel Air 3.0 and the SDG Radar MNT. For the seatpost innovations from SRAM as well as from YT itself are used: such as the SRAM Reverb AXS or YT Postman seatpost.

• Handlebars and stem come from E*Thirteen as well as Renthal: like the E13 Base 35 series or the Renthal Apex 35 stem as well as Fatbar 35 handlebars.

Wheels / Tires

• For wheels Crankbrothers products are a popular choice either carbon or aluminum. Maxxis quality comes into play with the tires: such as the Maxxis Assegai in front and the Maxxis Minion DHR II in the rear.

YT Industries specializes in the MTB which is available for a wide variety of uses the respective models. With the Jeffsy you have an excellent all-mountain MTB while the Izzo is the perfect trail bike. The Tues on the other hand is the ideal downhill bike while with the Dirtlove you will experience pure riding fun on all pumptracks. 

For juniors the Jeffsy Primus was developed and for those who prefer to ride an e-bike there is the E-MTB All-Mountain Decoy 29 and the E-MTB Enduro Decoy. Furthermore there are the individually equipped  Uncaged models with high-end components where each bike is unique in itself.
